Razorback Relief: Operation Haiti is an event that will make a significant and immediate impact on the people of Haiti. Our record-breaking attempt at 2 million meals is huge, and the need of the Haitian people remains great. Our event desperately needs volunteers to show up at the Randal Tyson Indoor Track Center on Friday, June 25th and Saturday June, 26th. The event starts at 7pm on Friday and runs continuously for 24 hours.
We need thousands of volunteers to turn out for the event.
“White Shirt” volunteers: please show up between the hours of 7pm, Friday and 7pm, Saturday. There is not a sign-up process to be a “White Shirt”, just come out and help us package 2 million meals. The first 500 volunteers to show up between the late night hours of 1am-7am receive an authentic Razorback Relief: Operation Haiti shirt! Be the first in line at 1:00am and YOU will receive a cool shirt to wear during the event!
As of June 22nd, we are still needing 41 “Red Shirt” volunteers which are 6-hour shifts and more of a coordinator role, volunteers need to sign-up through the link on the left side of this page, where it says “Red Shirt Volunteer Sign-up” or contact Rich Morris at [email protected] or call (479) 455-2022 *204.
Please tell your family, friends and co-workers about Razorback Relief, we need lots of help this weekend to break the world record and reach our goal of feeding millions of starving parents and children. There are not too many opportunities in life that allow you to spend two hours of your time and feed 3,000 starving people. Will you come out and be a part of something great?

The Arkansas Razorbacks are teaming up with Numana, Inc. and the people of Northwest Arkansas for Razorback Relief: Operation Haiti – a 24-hour event to package a record-breaking two million meals for Haiti.
The 24-hour marathon will begin Friday, June 25 at 7 p.m. at the Randal Tyson Track Center and continue uninterrupted for 24 hours. Volunteers will work alongside Razorback student-athletes to help package meals that will be shipped directly to starving people in Haiti. Interested volunteers are encouraged to gather friends, co-workers, fellow students and family members to work together in rewarding and entertaining two-hour shifts that will result in desperately needed food for those in need.
“We are excited to team up with Numana and the people of Northwest Arkansas to help the people of Haiti,” University of Arkansas Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long says. “We are calling on Razorback fans and all of those around the region to join our student-athletes, coaches and staff in volunteering for this unique and exciting outreach event. More than one million meals were packaged in Los Angeles and then Kansas City topped that mark. I know that the people of Northwest Arkansas will help us shatter the record by packaging two million meals for Haiti.
“Often when we see needs around the world it is difficult to determine how we can make a meaningful difference. Razorback Relief: Operation Haiti gives us all a hands-on opportunity to make a life-changing impact on millions of people.”
The packaged meals will be shipped directly to starving people in Haiti by Numana, Inc. under the watchful eye of the United States Military.

Rich Morris, the Razorback Relief organizer, says “I believe Razorback Relief: Operation Haiti will be a significant event for the state of Arkansas and surrounding region. We need volunteers all hours of the day and night to support this special event. Let’s help the people of Haiti together.”
Volunteers can register on the day of the event at the Randal Tyson Track Center. No pre-registration is required and volunteers will be assigned two-hour shifts. Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to work multiple shifts throughout the event.
